Introduction

The Oil and Gas Production Exploration Engineering study program is a study program that prepares graduates to become professionals in the upstream oil sector. Teaching and learning activities are carried out with supporting facilities that are able to optimize student skill development, field visits, practicums and deepening of courses in the field periodically/semesterly and teaching lecturers who come from academics and practitioners (coming from oil and drilling companies) are thus expected to The human resources produced are human resources who have the competencies or skills desired by the upstream oil industry and can directly contribute to advancing the national and world oil industry.

Scope

The Oil and Gas Production Exploration Engineering study program has a scope that aims to prepare skilled and competent human resources in oil and gas exploration and production activities with employment opportunities spread throughout Indonesia and abroad.

Mission

  1. Organizing education that produces graduates who are certified in competency in the field of upstream oil and gas, devoted to God Almighty, disciplined and have integrity
  2. Carrying out scientific development through research published nationally and internationally in the field of upstream oil and gas that is relevant and oriented towards meeting the needs of the oil and gas industry.
  3. Actively implementing petroleum engineering expertise through community service that is oriented towards the needs of stakeholders.
  4. Establish and improve domestic and foreign cooperation with stakeholders in order to optimize the implementation of the Tridharma of Education High.

Objectives

  1. To produce graduates who have certificates of competence as well as piety, discipline and integrity with qualifications that are relevant to the needs of the upstream oil and gas industry.
  2. To play an active role in developing research results that are published nationally and internationally in the oil and gas sector that have the potential to be appropriate and can be published and utilized for the benefit of the national oil and gas industry community.
  3. To realize community service activities that are beneficial for improving the welfare of the community, especially the needs of stakeholders
  4. To realize the quality and professionalism of the managers of the Oil and Gas Production Exploration Engineering Study Program in fostering domestic and foreign cooperation with stakeholders so as to optimize the Tridharma of higher education
